The Programs Coordinator is a highly organized multi-tasker, able to juggle the curation and execution of various events and programs. Hawaiian cultural grounding, place-based knowledge of Hāna and a drive to empower and elevate community are important qualities to be successful in this position. This position also requires the ability to reach-out and work with various organizations, groups of people and businesses, and unify them under one goal — to empower and elevate community.
The Programs Coordinator oversees established programs and events of Ala Kukui and also works with the Executive Director and Retreat Manager to create new programs and events that will help to further the mission of the organization.
Programs and events are the heart of Ala Kukui; our focus is Hāna and her kulāiwi, so this position embodies all that we stand for.
Experience recommended. Our Housekeeping staff are the caretakers of Ala Kukui’s buildings and facilities, and they create a clean and refreshing space for our guests. Pride, value, and purpose in one’s work are the qualities we aspire for our staff.
Our Housekeeping position entails general and detailed cleaning of all buildings and facilities on property, laundry duties, noting supply and inventory needs, noting maintenance issues, appliance and equipment upkeep, prepare rooms for guests’ arrivals, and close up after departures.
